It is fantastic news that many people are now taking better care of their health both physically and mentally but many people seem to overlook one of the most important things that we have and it is our sight. • Be sure to wear sunglasses – We do get a lot of sunshine here in Thailand and they can get damaged by harmful UV rays during the daytime. You need to invest in a quality pair because there are many copies out there that don’t provide the protection that your eyes need. Not taking proper care and attention can lead to your retinas getting burnt and cataract issues.
  • If you smoke then stop – There are many reasons why you need to stop smoking and your eyesight is one of them. Smoking is not only a high risk factor for getting many other diseases but it is a surefire way to damage your eyes which can lead to vision loss. Put down those cigarettes and never reach for them again.
  • Follow a healthy diet – What you eat dictates the quality of your eyesight and when your parents told you when you are young that carrots were good for your eyes, they were not lying. Foods that are high in vitamins C, E and zinc are incredibly good for your eyesight and try to eat lots of healthy fatty acids to keep any eye disease away.
  • Take breaks from your computer – If you are the type of person who works from home or is a digital nomad then it is likely you are on your computer for many hours a day. Everyone understands that you need to make a living but you need to start taking more breaks at regular intervals.

Follow these four pieces of advice and there’s no reason to think that your eyesight will deteriorate at all.
